  • Long Bones- femur, humerus, and tibea
  • short bones- carpals and tarsals
  • irregular bones- vertebrae, mandible, and sacrum
  • flat bones- scapula and sternum
  • sesamoid bones- Patella (Knee cap)
  • Spongy Bone- a lighter bone that is located at the epiphyses of long bones such as the Tibia
